Martensville Veterinary Hospital offers a wide range of veterinary services to meet your pet’s health care needs. 

Our small animal care center has pet emergency equipment such as oxygen, fluids, warming devices and diagnostic equipment.  We are capable of hospitalizing sick pets and are well trained in pain management

Diagnostic services can help in an emergency, to make surgery or anesthesia safer, and to diagnose many medical conditions.  Our veterinary clinic has an in house radiology suite to perform x-rays, ultrasounds and electrocardiographs (ecg or ekg) with a real-time analyser.  As well, we have an in house laboratory for analysis of urine, fecesbloodwork, clotting and oxygenation status in small animals.  We also can analyse cells from the blood or lumps to help determine the best next steps for your pet.  

Our small animal clinic performs many dental services, from basic teeth cleaning and teeth polishing and sealing to complex tooth extractions in dogs and cats.  Our whole team is passionate about preventing dental disease in pets!

The Martensville veterinarians perform elective surgical services such as spays and neuters, tumor/lump removal, stenotic nare repair and gastropexies. Our veterinarians are also skilled at life saving surgeries such as foreign body removal, cystotomy (bladder stone removals, bladder polyp removals), splenectomy and laceration repairs.  Martensville vets refer to board certified veterinary surgeons that will perform advanced or complex orthopedic surgeries.

Our small animal care center is also please to provide many pet medical services.  Our vets perform pet health assessments, wellness optimization, behavior and nutritional consults.  We offer dermatology appointments and diagnose many skin and ear problems and allergic diseases.  Martensville Veterinary Hospital also diagnoses manages heart and lung disease (cardiology, pulmonology, respirology) which is very common in dogs and cats.  We can diagnose and manage many eye diseases and actively refer to boarded ophthalmologists.  Our veterinarians in Martensville have lots of experience with liver and kidney disease in dogs and cats.  They can also help pets with hormone and endocrine imbalances such as those with diabetes, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Cushing’s and Addison’s disease to name a few.
