Please join us on May 28, 2017 from 10am to 2pm for our 6th Annual Microchip Day!    This year all donations go to purchasing  pet-specific oxygen masks for the Martensville Fire Department.  These masks help firefighters save the lives of pets that are in shock or have smoke inhalation.

This is a come and go event suitable for the whole family.  There is no admission and everyone is welcome.  However, if you would like your pet microchipped, please call to reserve your time: 306-933-2677.

Here are just a few of the things we have planned:

Microchips: Help your pet return home. Any pet can receive a microchip for just $20.  Our trained staff can apply a microchip in your pet in an exam room- it only takes a few minutes and they can be awake for the procedure.  Learn more about microchipping here.  Please call us to book your time slot between 10 am and 2 pm- there is registration paperwork that needs to be completed, and it helps ensure we have enough microchips.

Free Pet Treats from Theodore’s Bakery – your pet can sample their fabulous new line of  vet- approved pet treats including Doggie donut holes.

Human Treats: What event is complete without free human snacks?  As usual, we’ll provide an assortment of fruits, veggies, beverages and baked goods

Behind the Scenes Tours: learn about diagnostic, medical, surgical and life saving equipment and supplies at our veterinary clinic.  Tours held on the hour starting at 10am.

Check your Pet’s chip: Back by popular demand, this free chip checking station allows you to ensure that your pet’s microchip is still present, and the information is correct and up to date.

Prize Baskets: Purchase a raffle ticket to be entered to win a fabulous prize basket. Random draw will occur at 2pm. The winner will be contacted by email, and does not need to be present to win 🙂 All proceeds from the event go towards the purchase of life saving pet oxygen masks for the local fire departments.

Cat Bunk Bed Raffle: Perfect for feline friends, this adorable kitty bunk bed will be up for silent auction. Top bunk or bottom, your cats will love it, and feel good about saving lives with their purchase!

Grooming Demonstrations: Always wanted to trim your pet’s nails, but just not sure how?  Swing by the grooming demonstration to learn what supplies you need, some ways to help hold you pet still, and how to cut nails to the right length.

Colouring Contest: Have you child colour in a contest sheet and bring it with them to the event for a chance to win!  Colouring contest pictures will be available online before the event (pick one of the sheets to colour). Submissions must be brought to the event on May 28th to be eligible for the prize draw.
