In the fall of 2016, I joined the MVH team as an associate veterinarian. The positive atmosphere, caliber of staff and real focus on quality medicine and excellent patient care is what I think sets Martensville Veterinary Hospital apart from other clinics I’ve encountered over the years.

I am particularly passionate about feline medicine, improving their welfare and all things cats of course! Being active with local feline rescue, spay/neuter groups and helping provide veterinary services to remote areas within Saskatchewan and beyond is important to me.

My husband and I currently share our home with 1 dog (Daisy) and 8 cats (Bob, Stella, Sophie, Ratchet, Finn, Charlie, Francis and Charlotte) plus 2 teenage boys – never a dull or quiet moment in our household!

While earning my veterinary degree in Saskatoon from WCVM, I was the recipient of the Merial Award of Excellence in Feline Medicine and Lexie Adamson Animal Welfare, Rights, and Rescue Award. I’m currently a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Shelter Veterinarians and Saskatoon Academy of Veterinary Practitioners.

A genuine compassion for animals has been a constant throughout my life and why I ultimately became a veterinarian. My philosophy has always remained the same, whether I’m volunteering or working in private practice, in that I treat each animal as if they were my own. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and caring for your pets.
