VETERINARY TECHNOLOGISTS
Jenna Bernauer | VETERINARY TECHNOLOGISTS
I graduated from Lakeland College in 2021 and have worked in clinic since. I started at a rural mixed animal practice in Melfort where I learned that I love practicing anesthesia and dentistry! This mixed with personal life circumstances led me to join this great team here at MVH in February 2023. I appreciate the standard of care that is upheld for each patient and learning the different ways that medicine can be practiced. Education is a number one priority and I enjoy helping clients understand how to better care for their pets and utilize preventative care.
Coming from a farm background, I’ve always had dogs, cats, and horses around. I love showing horses competitively in both speed events and slower rail work with my trusted veteran mare Tia, and have been actively showing since I was 8. My other hobbies outside of veterinary medicine include hunting, fishing, quadding, sledding, camping, and reading.
Following in my mom’s footsteps, I became an RVT so I could continue working with animals closely every day. It has proved to be the best choice as it’s amazing to see all the interesting cases that come in, as well as getting to love on all the patients I can. My favorite aspect of this career is that you never know what each day will bring, it keeps life interesting! I’m excited to continue advancing my learning, practicing high quality medicine, and meeting you at your next appointment!
Haylee Weimer | RVT
Haylee graduated from the registered veterinary Technology program from Saskpolytech in 2023. She’s always been passionate about animals and knew she wanted to work with them from a young age. She really enjoys caring for your family members and prides herself in being able to give the best possible care.
Kate Dean (Maternity Leave) | RVT, VPM, CCRVN
I have a special interest in companion animal nutrition, rehab and behaviour and enjoy working with clients to find what works best for their particular four legged companion. If you have questions about your pet’s difficulty with anxiety, gradual weight gain or physical ability let me know!
Wendy Mock | RVT
I’m positive that every pet owner would love to have their companion for as long as possible, and I feel it’s my responsibility as a RVT, to give each pet and client the best care and education needed to accomplish that.
Chantel Steele (Relief RVT) | RVT
I love that every day I am able to come to work and make a difference in the lives of so many pets, as well as their guardians.

Purrgus (In Memoriam) | Clinic Cat, Manager
